Mike Whitby
According to Nick Griffin on his Twitter account, Mike Whitby, the BNP’s Liverpool Mayoral candidate has been arrested for allegations of electoral fraud.
Griffin wrote ” Police thugs smash down door of Mike Whitby & drag him off in hand cuffs. We have solicitor trying to find where police are holding Mike. Watch this space!”
Later Griffin again posted “Mike in Wrexham police station. Allegations of electoral fraud as a result of Liverpool Echo bullying signatories on our nomination papers. Old trick. Paper gets big money from Labour council. Corrupt.Mike has refused to cooperate with police, should be free soon.”
We aren’t aware if this is the real reason behind Whitby’s arrest, but we will write more as and when we find out.
