Rachel Santos, Educator and Aspen Institute Fellow. Rachel Santos’ teaching career spans 20-plus years in all grades Kindergarten through 6th, virtually all ABC Unified School District. She is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a B.A. in Anthropology Studying school culture and systems science has been a long-time passion for her, and she brings it into all her activities.
Crystal Patterson, Facebook. Crystal Patterson is a Government & Politics Outreach Manager for Facebook. She has more than a decade of experience in digital strategy and communications. With a background working on Capitol Hill, campaigns and in both the private and nonprofit sectors, Crystal now works with elected officials, government agencies, nonprofits and political organizations to optimize their Facebook experience and results.
Professor Thomas Main. Professor at the Austin W. Marxe School of Public and International Affairs of Baruch College, City University of New York. Main holds a Ph.D. in Politics from Princeton University and a two-year MPA from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. His research areas include extremist political ideologies, urban politics, public administration, bureaucracy, and the American Constitution. His OpEd on the Alt-Right was recently featured in the LA Times.
Arun Devasia, Community Organizer, Hope Not Hate. Located in Great Britain, Hope Not Hate is a nonprofit dedicated to using research, education and public engagement to challenge mistrust and racism. Founded in 2004, it is one of the largest and most successful political action groups in the country.
