HOPE not hate Charitable Trust

The HOPE not hate Charitable Trust is a registered charity in England and Wales (charity registration number 1013880) that works to raise funds and provide grants to organisations whose activities further its charitable objectives. It is regulated by the Charity Commission and registered with Companies House.

HOPE not hate receives grants from HOPE not hate Charitable Trust, which are used to undertake work falling within HOPE not hate Charitable Trust’s charitable objects.

Charitable objectives

i) The advancement of the education of the public and in particular but without limiting the generality of the foregoing:

1. provision of education and training of members of the public in relation to racial and religious prejudice; and
2. research into the causes and effects of racial and religious prejudice and disharmony and the dissemination of the useful results of such research.

ii. The general benefit of the public in such manner as may be charitable including but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing the promotion of good community relations between people of different races, ethnicities, cultures and religions.

iii. The promotion of racial and religious harmony for the public benefit by:

1. promoting knowledge and mutual understanding between different racial and/or religious groups;
2. advancing education and raising awareness about different racial or religious groups to promote good relations between persons of different racial or religious groups as the case may be;
3. working towards the elimination of discrimination on the grounds of race or religion.
