Lincoln: Racists Blocked By Police

In Lincoln Anti mosque protestors initially gathered in the George and Dragon pub with a large group of counter protestors gathering in the Cornhill area.

The racists then moved to City Square with a couple of the yobs approaching the counter protestors looking for trouble.

Chants of ‘burn the mosque’ and ‘who the f**k is Allah’ broke out amongst the crowd, however, they weren’t to go unchallenged. One brave elderly lady confronted the protestors calling them ‘disgusting’.

Members of the march then left City Square and attempted to march to the proposed site of the mosque on Boultham Park Road but police blocked them.

Some of the protest speakers addressed the crowd. One said “The reason we don’t want a mosque is that we don’t want Islam in this county”. Another speaker was a serving soldier.

One speaker known as ‘Wolfie’ said: “Muslims want to take over the world, they want world domination.Another speaker said: “Make no mistake, we can change things, next time there won’t be hundreds, there will be thousands.I’m telling the council to take this as a warning as we will bring this town to a standstill.”
