Earlier this week I blogged about the National Front’s promise/bragg last year, that if they won the right to use the name, they would stand 20 candidates at this General Election.
The party’s Chairman, Kev Bryan, wrote in angst at the end of last year how “We already have over 20 prospective candidates that will be contesting the General Election and double that amount for the local elections”.
I know the NF are not very bright, but it appears they have lost thirteen parliamentary candidates since then and will now have just the seven.
Unsurprisingly, they are actually blaming the other NF faction. Isn’t it funny how the story has changed?
The NF parliamentary candidates, other than Bryan who is standing in Rochdale are as follows:
Robert Batten – North Tyneside, North East England
Adam Lloyd – Bridgend, Wales
Richard Edmonds – Carshalton and Wallington, Greater London
Neil McIvor – Linlithgow and East Falkirk, Scotland
Mike Cooper – Hull East, Yorkshire
Christoher Willett -Aberdeen North
