Protect Our Postcode is led by Thomas’s Bournemouth-based right hand man, Samuel “Frank” White, who is the acting leader of PP following Thomas’s arrest. White accompanied Thomas into the water in Portsmouth in September, where the two stayed for three hours to prevent a boat carrying asylum seekers coming onto the shore.
On 21 October, White posted footage of several members of PP tackling a man to the ground; they had been told that he had been sending sexualised messages to somebody posing as a 15 year old girl online. Similar ‘predator hunter’ videos hold a strong following online, and PP’s vigilante styling means that pursuing similar content is not surprising.
