The team are more than happy to sit down with schools to discuss how HOPE not hate can best work with them. Our workshops are variable in length depending on the level of interaction and discussion required in the class, as well as to best fit with varied timetables.
All our workshops involve interactive games and activities to help make them more engaging and to assist those pupils with kinesthetic learning styles. We also try to develop the pupils’ emotional intelligence, as an understanding that we have emotional responses to the world before a cognitive one. We believe that this method allows the participants to develop their own deeper understanding of the issues, and one that will last longer with them, which increases the likelihood of them altering their behaviour towards making the school environment and local community more inclusive.
