Carroll: Despite his tough stance on alcohol, he may still miss out
Interesting story this morning on the BBC website about Labour’s Bob Ashford having to stand down as a candidate for the Avon and Somerset police commissioner election down due to a previous criminal conviction.
Mr Ashford’s conviction dates back to 1966, for which his was fined £5.
So, what are the chances of the EDL’s Kevin Carroll being eligible to stand in Bedfordshire?
