A leading member of the North East Infidels was arrested over the weekend and charged with firearm offences.
Paul Duffy, a former North East regional organiser for the English Defence League and activist with the breakaway North East Infidels was arrested on Sunday and has been charged with possession of a firearm.
Duffy, from Seaham, County Durham is currently being held on remand in HMP Durham and awaits trial sometime in 2013.
