Well, brewery Thwaites were not brilliantly responsive with claims that one of their pubs in Greater Manchester, run by a former BNP candidate, was not very pleasant.
After claiming “Nothing to do with us” for a while, they bowed to pressure and asked former BNP candidate Andrew Eccles to remove his comments from the pub’s Facebook page.
Eccles has now responded. His mother in law is “coloured” he writes.
As this rate, I’m expecting the pub to also have 1970’s prices and Bernard Manning performing on Friday night.
