With the EDL returning to Sheffield today, South Yorkshire police are taking now chances when it comes to protecting the city centre.
Steel barriers have been erected to preserve the cenotaph on Barkers Pool and all the adjacent side roads have been blocked off.
The EDL appear to be congregating in the Banker’s Draft pub, there are approximately 100 of them so far. Liverpool division have just arrived to bolster the numbers.
Also in the pub is EDL leader Tommy Robinson aka Stephen Lennon. So far the police presence at the pub is non existent.
