Duffy: Gone
The British National Party’s decline continues with confirmation that long serving councillor Cathy Duffy lost her seat in East Goscote, Charnwood in Leicestershire after sitting there for eight years.
Despite getting 35% of a three way poll, Duffy lost to the Conservative candidate and believes it was a conspiracy to unseat her, and not just the regular effort of a political party trying to win seats, including hers.
