As we reported this morning, some of the failed fascists and nazis who have lost their gig in Scotland this weekend are planning to still go to Edinburgh and have a “social.”
Up to 150 neo-nazis from Germany, England, Belgium and Scotland are unable to redeem their train, plane and hotel bookings so are going ahead with a drinking binge in the Scottish capital instead.
They made arrangements on a secret Facebook page and announced the venue as being the unfortunate The Tron in the city centre. They had booked themselves into the venue under the auspices of being a birthday party.
We rung the venue this afternoon and spoke to Kirsty/Kirstie. We told her that the venue had inadvertently taking a booking by violent neo-nazis. Her reply was “no comment.” When pushed further, she said “It is a birthday party as far as I am concerned. No further comment.”
The Tron describes itself as a popular venue with families, students and tourists. Nazis are none of those, and neither are they friendly to those.
Everyone in Edinburgh should ensure other pubs/clubs have not been duped. Let us hope The Tron comes to its senses.
