Our Facebook page reported on the weekend (via our friends in Budapest) that serial scroungers Nick Griffin and Jim Dowson had been involved in some rather unruly scenes outside the Hungarian Parliament in Budapest.
The occasion was the commemoration of the short-lived Hungarian revolution of 1956, when the Hungarian republic rose up against Soviet rule. Many, many members of the Hungarian Communist Party were murdered by the Soviets in response for taking a lead in anti-Stalin activities.
It appears that Griffin and Dowson may have misread Hungarian history somewhat (or just had a warped view of it like they do most things) and thought it was a day out for racists. It appears they ran into a group of Hungarian antifascists.
Although Dowson is claiming he and Griffin fought off the “red menace” a few more things have sprung up since the weekend.
A small party of past and present British National Party (BNP) personnel were also in Budapest with Griffin on the day. Chief amongst them was Kenny McDonald, the disloyal leader of the BNP in Scotland, and notorious (but proud) sex tourist Thomas “Choo-Choo” Imrie, who is more famed for his visits to Asia.
News that Griffin has been meeting up with people still in the BNP’s orbit will come as a bit of a blow to the party’s current leadership. Not only are Clive Jefferson and Adam Walker rumoured to be having another one of their infamous “quarrels” what is left of the party are also up in arms.
It appears that Jefferson has “done a Nick Griffin” and emptied all the branch bank accounts- actually, emptied and then closed them.
Their recent intervention in the Batley & Spen By-election was another nail in the cash-coffin. They raised only £100 by resorting to Crowdfunder to fund their electoral disaster.
