Scottish troll Shaun Moth claims “door kicked in” by police

Serial troll Shaun Moth has claimed that that he’s had his “door kicked in” by police as part of a “witch hunt on patriots and nationalism.”

You may recall we reported before Christmas that Moth had called for the murders of Diane Abbott and Brexit legal challenger Gina Miller. You may also recall he was convicted of posting that he wished a then missing three-year-old child, Mikaeel Kumar, be found under the wheels of a bus.

If his claim is true that Police Scotland have raided his home and seized his laptop and mobile, then this is a welcome development. Despite already having done jail time he seems to think he can continue his spittle-flecked commentaries, regardless of the laws against hate crime.

Let’s be clear about this. This is not an freedom of speech issue. We are not, as Moth claims “close to living in a Communist society” nor are gulags on the way to deal with dissenters. We do, though, have laws designed to prevent incitement of hatred against people because of their ethnic or religious identity. That’s what the issue is.
