Salary: £33,000 to 35,000

HOPE not hate are looking for a Digital Organiser to work alongside our Campaigns and Communications team to mobilise tens of thousands of antifascists across the country to take meaningful action against the far right.
What you’ll be doing
- Working closely with colleagues, you’ll design and deliver digital strategies to engage our supporters taking them on a journey from digital actions to in person campaigning.
- Devise data-driven strategies to recruit supporters from all walks of life to our cause, expanding our digital engagement through online communities, volunteer networks and targeted outreach.
The type of person we are looking for has the following:
- Experience of political, digital or community organising and someone with great political judgement.
- Experience using a wide range of digital tools to attract and mobilise supporters (including Engaging Networks, Movement, paid advertising, etc).
- Experience of volunteer management and creating actions that people are excited to be a part of.
- Someone who enjoys speaking to new people, who isn’t afraid to pick up the phone and make things happen.
- A deep respect for local communities who are susceptible to the far right. Our role as HOPE not hate is to work proactively with these communities, without judgement and with great sensitivity.
- Someone who can demonstrate emotional resilience when working on a tough issue in a high pressure climate. We understand that our work can be stressful and have support in place for all team members who need it but we encourage applicants to think carefully about whether they are prepared to work on this subject area day in and day out.
About the team:
This role sits in the Campaigns and Communications Department of HOPE not hate working alongside our C&C Director, Press Lead, Digital Lead, Campaigns Lead, Parliamentary Officer, Content Officer and a growing team of Regional Campaigns Organisers.
