Across the UK, Reform is gaining momentum faster than many expected. The party is presenting itself as a “common-sense” alternative and is beginning to win real power in councils and local politics. If that rise continues, it could reshape British politics for a generation.
But when you look closely at what its politicians say, how they vote, how they act, and what happens when they gain power, a very worrying picture starts to emerge.
Voters have begun asking serious questions:
These questions matter because they affect real things people care about: their jobs, their communities and the future of the country.
That’s why HOPE not hate is building a movement of people determined to challenge Reform UK’s rise, expose their tactics, and push back in communities across the country. But we need you to join us.

Broken promises. Scandals. Councils in Chaos.
This report shows what actually happens when Reform UK takes power. Not the slogans, but the decisions being made in councils right now. This is the reality of Reform in office and a warning of what comes next if their rise continues unchecked.
We can stop them, but only if we start organising now.
This fight will be won on the ground, in our towns, our workplaces, and our communities. The more of us standing together, the stronger our resistance. Join us today and be part of the movement to stop Reform UK before they gain even more power.
Your local knowledge is essential in this battle.
By joining our campaign team— our eyes and ears on the ground— you can help us expose their tactics, challenge their narratives, and fight back. Take our 3 minute survey and share what you’ve seen in your area.

Our study of over 11,000 Reform UK voters is the largest and most extensive study into the party undertaken to date.
Learn who exactly supports Reform UK and how there are clear opportunities to reach and persuade voters who are enticed by them.
Reform UK presents itself as a “common-sense” alternative, but the truth is clear: their leaders, funders and policies tell a very different story.
🔹 Reform UK is far-right. Nigel Farage has a long history of scapegoating asylum seekers, Muslims, and other minorities, while other senior figures have pushed conspiracy theories and hard-right policies.
🔹 They thrive on division. Instead of offering real solutions, they fuel anger and resentment, undermining trust in democracy, targeting vulnerable communities, and positioning themselves as the only ones who “tell the truth.”
🔹 They are growing fast. Their campaign machine is pouring resources into towns and cities across the UK, and their message is reaching more people than ever.
🔹 They will change Britain for the worse. If they succeed, they will drag British politics further toward division, hostility, and distrust, making it harder to bring people together and solve real problems.

Reform UK’s voter base is not a single bloc, it’s a coalition of people frustrated with mainstream politics, drawn in by their promises to “fix the system.”
Our megapoll of Reform UK voters found that their supporters fall into five key groups from disillusioned ex-Labour voters to older authoritarians drawn to Farage’s nationalism.
Many are understandably frustrated with mainstream politics and pessimistic about Britain’s future. While immigration dominates their concerns, most also want fairness, better public services, and stronger workers’ rights.
There is a real opportunity to win back many of these voters by showing that change can come through progressive political decisions.

Millions across Britain would never vote for Nigel Farage. But many are disillusioned and willing to take a chance on his divisive politics. That’s why we need to act together to show them that Reform UK isn’t the answer. By signing our Never Nigel pledge, you’ll join a movement of tens of thousands finding ways to break through to persuadable voters.
Help us do more of this work and take a stand against the divisive politics of Reform UK. Your donations enable us to organise locally, resist far-right extremism, and build a united front. Every contribution helps.
