Resistance GB is a media outlet for conspiracy theorists, set up in 2020 by Will Coleshill, a former Conservative councillor in Enfield who was suspended from the party in 2018 for making racist comments.
Coleshill was the subject of controversy in February 2022, when he was among a mob who harangued Keir Starmer, then leader of the opposition. On X, he can be found promoting Tommy Robinson; arguing that Kate Shemirani, a conspiracy theorist and anti-vaccine activist, “took a principled stand, at great personal cost, to save millions of lives during the lockdowns from medical malpractice”; and declaring that former COVID-19 vaccines minister Nadhim Zahawi is a “murderer” as “the ‘vaccine’ is dangerous, it kills and cripples”.
Resistance GB has had some success on YouTube, with over 120,000 subscribers as of early 2026, although many of its videos receive only small numbers of views. Among those platformed by Resistance GB in 2025 were Andrew Bridgen, a former Tory MP who now spends his time propagating conspiracy theories online; Nick Tenconi, the leader of UKIP; David Kurten, the leader of the Heritage Party; and James Harvey, founder of Students Against Tyranny.
