The tiny far-right group Britain First today sent out an email to its supporters trying to get support for EDL leader Stephen Lennon.
Britain First’s leader Jim Dowson is notorious for trying to raise funds off the back of a far-right disaster. When Dowson ran the BNP for Nick Griffin, Dowson made fortunes out of the BNP’s 2010 General Election car-crash. To be honest, Dowson would probably get out of his own grave to sell raffle tickets.
Dowson’s email to people in the EDL, BNP, BFP, NF etc, etc has upset greatly Lennon’s “friends” in the smaller do-nothing British Freedom Party (BFP), in particular Simon Bennett who runs their website.
Upon receiving news of Dowson’s email, Bennett immediately took to the web to warn of the dangers of Dowson. And Bennett should know, when both he and Dowson were in the BNP, Dowson decided that Bennett was surplus to requirements and an expensive and temperamental “luxury” the party did not need to pay the monies that they were.
It all boiled down to commissions and Bennett was so upset, he threw aside his “morals” and indeed his “commitment” to saving this great nation, and pulled the plug on the BNP website on the eve of the elections.
Of course, Bennett probably does not know about secret discussions that have been going on, which we will reveal in the next edition of our magazine Hope Not Hate. The story will probably send poor old Simon over the edge…
Looks like Stephen Lennon is in the middle of another sandwich tonight.
