Let me introduce to you Ade Hennessy, an EDL supporter from Hammersmith.
Not only does Ade support the EDL he is also a season ticket holder at Chelsea Football Club.
Hennessy, a carpenter with construction firm Harris Calnan regularly travels to watch his beloved Chelsea, including some of their European games.
During today’s big match that saw Manchester United defeat Chelsea 3-2, Hennessy took exception to a foul committed by a Chelsea player on the United player Ashley Young. The Chelsea player, Branislav Ivanovic was shown the red card for the foul.
Posting on Facebook, Hennessy wrote ” YOU KNOW WHO U ARE ..ASHLEY YOUNG YOUR A DIVING BLACK C**T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Yet, despite this disgusting racism, Hennessy’s Facebook page is chock full of images of his footballing heroes, many of them black players such as Didier Drogba and Ashley Cole.
After Hennessy posted his foul mouthed attack he was challenged by a number of fellow Chelsea supporters including Paul Canoville, a former Chelsea player and the first black player to play for Chelsea.
Despite this, Hennessy insists he isn’t a racist.
We will let the Metropolitan Police,Chelsea Football Club and Harris Calnan decide that as we will pass them all the relevant information.
