Anjem Choudary
As police begin to examine the evidence from yesterdays horrific murder of a soldier in Woolwich, some details of the attacker have been revealed to the worlds media.
One of the suspects is understood to be 28-year-old Muslim convert Michael Adebolajo who also used the name Mujahid.
Adebolajo,a British-born Nigerian was a regular visitor to meetings and lectures held by the banned organisation Al Muhajiroun.
Anjem Choudary, the leader of the group admitted he knew Adebolajo who attended Al Muhajiroun meetings upto 2011. Choudary denies that Michael Adebolajo had been radicalised by the banned organisation.
Al Muhajiroun was created in 1983 by Syrian born Islamic extremist Omar Bakri Muhammad and has been linked to terrorism, homophobia and antisemitism.
