Eddowes in Slough earlier this month
The English Defence League (EDL) has appointed the former bodyguard of their founder Stephen Lennon as their new Chairman.
Steve Eddowes replaces Tim Abblitt as “Chairman”. He is not the leader, just in case anybody thinks Stephen Lennon is not still the actual leader/owner of the diminishing group.
Abblitt is claiming ill health has forced him to step down from his role as Lennon’s sock puppet. It’s probably a slight case of that and the fact that so few people had any kind of faith in his ability.
The EDL has also officially announced that it is now against “mass immigration.” Well, there is a shock. We’ll add that to the list of their other hatreds.
Eddowes has a good pedigree. He appears to be close to Andrew Currien who has been jailed previously for his part in a racist death.
