Ingrid Carlqvist is a journalist and a founder of the Swedish Free Press Society. She also writes for Gates of Vienna and was Editor-in-Chief for Dispatch International. In 2016 she started to express support for the Swedish nazi organisation Nordiska Motståndsrörelsen (NMR) and now denies the Holocaust.

Since its launch in June 2017 a key activist in the group Det Fria Sverige (The Free Sweden) which “works in the interest of Swedish people” and has states that “an invasion is an invasion, even if it doesn’t use weapons” in regards to Muslim immigration.
As head of the now relatively inactive International Civil Liberties Alliance (ICLA), Christine Brim was one of the most important networkers in the global counter-jihad movement. The ICLA, and the conferences it held, brought together virtually every strand of this international network.
An IT specialist, Brim was Chief Operating Officer and a Vice President at the Center for Security Policy (CSP) and Executive Director for the Victory Coalition Fund. Before joining the CSP, she was a senior associate at the Lexington Institute and the Center for Vigilant Freedom (CVF) and as executive director of the CVF’s forerunner, the 910 Group, was directly involved in campaigning against a Muslim community in Red House, Virginia in 2007. She is also a founder of Paratos LLC, a risk communications consultancy.
The website of the Center for Vigilant Freedom is now defunct but was registered to Brim at the Envoy Group, a private company that she has owned in Fairfax, Virginia.
As an avid networker, she had previously raised the possibility of working with parties such as Marine Le Pen’s far-right Front National (since renamed Rassemblement National)and even the British National Party (BNP) if it renounced antisemitism and backed Israel.
In 2007, the Gates of Vienna site posted background material compiled by Brim and aimed at opposing Muslim involvement in the US Justice Department First Freedom Project.
Brim addressed the United American Committee’s second ‘Rally Against Islamofascism Day’ at Ground Zero in New York in March 2007.
She also spoke at a March 2011 rally in New York in support of Peter King, the Republican New York Congressman conducting hearings into radical Islam in the United States. Other speakers included Helen Freedman, Executive Director of Americans For A Safe Israel and Tim Brown of Liberty Rocks.
She has previously contributed to The Federalist and Breitbart News Network.

Edward May was the principal organizer of the international counter-jihad movement from 2006-2011 and has been one of its most important and respected bloggers.
In 2004 he established the Gates of Vienna blog, which continues to be one of the most influential counter-jihad sites in the world. It has become a platform for many of the movement’s most extreme and hardline writers.
May himself voiced his support for counter-jihadist blogger Peder Nøstvold Jensen’s (AKA Fjordman) civil war theory in September 2006, and he also agreed with the notion that the counter-jihadists were at war with the “left wing establishment”. He said:
“We agree with Fjordman and many others that the Jihad is just a symptom, and that the enemy lies within. This war is a civil war within the west, between traditional western culture and the forces of politically correct multicultural Marxism that have bedevilled it for the last hundred years.”
As co-director of the Center for Vigilant Freedom (CVF)/International Civil Liberties Alliance (ICLA), May helped organize three of the original international counter-jihad conferences and he has attended three others more recently.
May is a proud Islamophobe, once declaring: “Islamophobia is a rational response to current events. If you’re not an Islamophobe, you’re not paying attention.”
May has previously been a Director of the International Free Press Society. He was also cited more than 100 times in Norwegian mass killer Anders Breivik’s manifesto.
While May’s public appearances have quietened in recent years, the Gates of Vienna blog remains active.

Brigitte Gabriel is the co-founder and Chairman of ACT for America, which claims to campaign against radical Islam and is probably the largest grassroots counter-jihad network in the United States.
Gabriel was born to a Maronite Christian family in Lebanon and as a child was the victim of attacks by Islamist militants during the Lebanese civil war. She touches on her experience in her best-selling book Because They Hate: A Survivor of Islamic Terror Warns America. The book was placed on the FBI Academy reading list and made mandatory reading for Navy SEALS Special Forces troops heading to the Middle East. She has also published They Must Be Stopped: Why We Must Defeat Radical Islam and How We Can Do It which also quickly became a New York Times bestseller.
She travels across the United States giving talks about her experiences as a Christian who has first-hand experience of radical Muslim terrorists.
Controversially she has asserted that practicing Muslims cannot be loyal to the United States and, while addressing a Christians United for Israel (CUI) convention in 2007, she said that Arabs and Muslims “have no soul”. She has been roundly criticized for hate speech and using language that dehumanizes Muslims.
As with many in the counter-jihad movement Gabriel believes that America and the West are under threat from Islam, which she believes, as stated in her book They Must Be Stopped “threatens to enslave, dominate, and murder us in order to realize its vision for global conquest”.
At the September 2018 ACT for America conference Gabriel she alleged she was close to “65 to 70” members of Congress, and that visiting Washington DC was like a “family reunion”. She also claimed that ACT is “very focused” on the White House, that she considers President Trump supportive of her organisation, and that she even has a standing meeting at the White House on a weekly basis.

Pamela Geller is an American blogger, author and political activist and a principal leader of the international counter-jihad movement.
She co-founded the American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI) and Stop Islamization of Nations (SION) and is Executive Director of Stop Islamization of America (SIOA).
She was a leading campaigner against the proposed construction of an Islamic community center in Lower Manhattan, New York labelling it the “Ground Zero mega mosque”.
A former associate publisher of The New York Observer, Geller promotes a conspiratorial Islamophobic agenda that emphasizes the existence of a concerted Islamic conspiracy to destroy American values.
Her views are often controversial and extreme, leading to her organisation being labelled a “hate group” by the Anti Defamation League (ADL).
As well as defending former Serbian president Slobodan Milosevic, she has endorsed the labelling of the massacre of 8,000 Bosnian Muslims as the “Srebrenica Genocide Myth” and claimed that the Muslims were driven by a “desperate Holocaust envy”.
In 2010 she called the English Defence League (EDL) “courageous English patriots” and called for people to “support the English Defence League in its efforts to stand for England and the west against the belligerent invaders and Islamic imperialists”.
Geller’s SIOA sponsored inflammatory bus adverts in 2010 encouraging Muslims to leave Islam. Signs such as “Islam = 1,400 years of Aggression, Murder!” are regularly seen at protest events organised by Geller.
Despite this extremism her views have been embraced by leading political figures, including Newt Gingrich, the former Republican Speaker of the US House of Representatives. She is a columnist for American Thinker, and former columnist with Human Events and WorldNetDaily and former Associate Publisher, The New York Observer, 1989-1994.
CNN reported in March 2018 that Geller has had a “decade-long association” with John Bolton, now Trump’s National Security Advisor. Bolton wrote the foreword to her 2010 book The Post-American Presidency: The Obama Administration’s War in America (co-authored with Robert Spencer).

Lars Hedegaard is the Danish founder and leader of the International Free Press Society (IFPS), one of the most important international counter-jihad networks. He has regularly championed the cause of outspoken figures such as Dutch politician Geert Wilders.
The IFPS is an extension of the Danish-based Free Press Society, which Hedegaard founded in 2004.
His organisation presents two yearly awards, The Free Speech Award and the Sappho Award. The Sappho Award is specifically for journalists, and winners include the cartoonist Kurt Westergaard, who depicted the Prophet Muhammad in 2005 wearing a bomb in his turban.
Hedegaard gave an interview in December 2009 in which he declared, among other things, that “girls in Muslim families are raped by their uncles, their cousins or their dad”. The public attorney chose to make a case against him for his comments and he was charged with hate speech. He was put on trial in Denmark but was acquitted of any wrongdoing by a Danish Lower Court in January 2011. The decision was then appealed and Hedegaard was found guilty of hate speech in May 2011. On April 20, 2012, the Danish Supreme Court decided that the prosecution had failed to prove that Hedegaard was aware that his statements would be published. As a result Hedegaard was cleared of wrongdoing and the Supreme Court has affirmed the legal restrictions on free speech in Denmark.
In 2012 he launched Dispatch International in partnership with Swedish counter-jihadist Ingrid Carlqvist and Canadian Bjorn Larsen. As well as a print edition there was a website, dispatchint.com. The newspaper folded in August 2013 due to financial difficulties and the website has not been updated since May 2016.
In 2013 an Islamist gunman attempted to assassinate Hedegaard. The attempt failed and the assailant escaped the scene.

David Horowitz was a former New Left radical but is now a leading American conservative commentator. He is the founder of the David Horowitz Freedom Center (DHFC), a prominent think tank that helps fund and co-ordinate counter-jihad activities, including financing Jihad Watch. He is probably the most important public funder of the international counter-jihad movement.
The DHFC, founded in 1988, claims to combat “the efforts of the radical left and its Islamist allies to destroy American values and disarm this country as it attempts to defend itself in a time of terror”. He has asserted that Islamic extremists have infiltrated the American school system.
Horowitz has courted controversy by labelling Middle Eastern Muslims as “Islamic Nazis” who “want to kill Jews, that’s their agenda”. His views have led him to create an annual Islamofascism Awareness Week (IFAW), which has taken place on hundreds of university and college campuses across the United States since 2007 (Stephen Miller, now White House senior policy advisor, was the project’s co-founder, national campus coordinator and president while a student at Duke University).
The DHFC also has two online magazines, FrontPage Magazine (FPM) and Jihad Watch, which hosts articles from a wide range of writers pushing their conspiratorial Islamophobic agenda.

Stephen Lennon is the most high profile figure on the UK counter-jihad scene. In June 2009 he co-founded the English Defence League (EDL), building it into the premier street protest group within Europe before the emergence of Pegida. His central role in the expansion of the EDL has seen him lauded and emulated by counter-jihad activists across Europe and North America, with copy-cat ‘Defence Leagues’ emerging overseas with varied success.
In 2011 Lennon announced a pact between the EDL and the British Freedom Party, a counter-jihad group led by Paul Weston (who later went on to lead Liberty GB, and has now joined the far-right For Britain in the UK). Lennon became joint vice-chairman with his cousin Kevin Carroll and the idea was to target local elections. However, he soon split away to refocus his efforts solely on the EDL.
Lennon has a chequered past that involves a period in the far-right British National Party (2004) and a series of spells in prison. In 2013 he was jailed for 10 months after entering America on someone else’s passport for the launch of Stop Islamization of Nations. He received $10,000 from Pam Geller to help his family while in prison. He was again imprisoned, this time for 18 months, for his part in a £180,000 mortgage fraud.
In October 2013, Lennon announced that he and Kevin Carroll had left the EDL. The announcement came at a press conference held by counter extremism think tank, Quilliam. For a period after his exit he seemed to be de-radicalising, even apologising for some of his blanket statements about Muslims and accepting that the EDL was “part of the problem”. He claimed that in the future he intended to tackle extremism on all fronts, including the far right.
His withdrawal from anti-Muslim activism proved short lived and in the summer of 2014 he began ratcheting up his anti-Muslim rhetoric on Twitter. By the following spring he addressed the launch of Victims of Islamic Cultural Extremism (VOICE) and planned to become co-leader of Sharia Watch UK with Anne Marie Waters. However, the fall out from an intended Muhammad cartoons competition and another few days in prison meant Lennon abandoned his plans.
In October 2015 Lennon spoke at Pegida rallies in the Netherlands and Germany. In Utrecht, he addressed a Pegida rally where he declared that he was “proud” to have set up the EDL and described EDL activists as “brave and fearless”.
The following month he attended an anti-Muslim rally in the Czech Republic that was addressed by the country’s President, in the company of the Pegida leadership. The following day, it was announced on social media that he was going to launch Pegida UK in January 2016, with himself as leader.
On 6 February 2016 Lennon relaunched Pegida UK in Birmingham, but just 200 people turned up. They returned to Birmingham in April with even fewer people.
Lennon began to work with the far-right Canadian media outlet, Rebel Media, in February 2017, gaining greater attention after filming from a scene after the Westminster terror attack on 22 March 2017. Lennon became a full-time contributor to the media outlet as part of his conscious shift to social media activism over street activism.
However in February 2018 Lennon left Rebel to focus on an independent media career, and has since collaborated with Alternative Right YouTube commentators Lauren Southern and Brittany Pettibone, as well as Generation Identity leader Martin Sellner.
Although images have surfaced of him associating with the leaders of the anti-Muslim street movement Britain First, and he continues to attend occasional rallies. On 18 March 2018 he addressed a crowd of around 1,000 at Speakers’ Corner, Hyde Park, to deliver a speech written by Sellner after he was barred from entering the UK.

Jean-Michel Clément, also known as Alain Wagner, has been linked to numerous large counter-jihad groups over the years, including founding L’Alliance and Vérité, Valeurs et Démocratie and leading Union de Défense des Citoyens et Contribuables.
In 2012 he become the leader of the International Civil Liberties Alliance and so became one of the most important figures in the European counter-jihadist scene. Previously, he was heavily involved with the European Freedom Initiative.
In the same year, Clément spoke at the Defence Leagues rally in Aarhus, Denmark, alongside EDL founder Stephen Lennon. Six months later, he organised a demonstration in Paris in support of Lennon, who had just been imprisoned after entering the US on a false passport.
In a 2013 speech in Paris, Clément said: “It is impossible to separate radical Islam from Islam because radical Islam derives all of its substance from Islamic doctrine.”

Debbie Robinson is the most significant figure on the counter-jihad scene in the southern hemisphere and is increasingly playing an important role on the world stage.
She is President of Q Society of Australia and is the country’s most established and high profile counter-jihadist. She is closely connected to leading counter-jihadist figures across the globe and has helped bring Geert Wilders, Robert Spencer and Gavin Boby to Australia.
She attended the inaugural meeting of the Stop Islamization of Nations (SION) meeting in New York, in September 2012 and is a member of the SION Board.
Robinson recently told an Australian news outlet that Islam was “a dangerous ideology that’s definitely not compatible with western culture and society.”
Robinson is also President of the Australian Liberty Alliance (ALA), an anti-Muslim party that was formed with Geert Wilders in Perth, in October 2015. The ALA contested elections in 2016, achieving 0.74% of the primary vote (102,982 votes) in the Senate and 0.19% of the primary vote (25,337 votes) in the House of Representatives, gaining representation in neither. Robinson herself stood as a Senate candidate in Western Australia.
In September 2016 she wrote a letter declaring that the party operation would be placed on hold for a period of 12-18 months due to lack of funds and time. In April 2017 she announced the ALA’s plans to run a 2018 election campaign in Victoria, as well as 2019’s federal election campaign.
Robinson is also the director of fundraising company Skipngirl Productions, which has registered ‘72 Virgins’ and ‘Hal and Al’s’ as business names. Skipngirl sells ‘Hal & Al’s 72 Virgins’, which is described as “a very drinkable Australian sparkling wine” from the Barossa Valley. The label boasts: “Consumption of this fine Australian wine may prevent you from entering the Islamic Paradise. However, both the Jewish and Christian paradises remain open as alternative (sic).”

This came after two videos from the symposium were alleged by Mohamed El-Mouelhy, director of the Halal Certification Authority, to suggest he was “promoting a global push for Islamisation calculated to destroy Australian values of freedom and tolerance”. In February 2017 Smith and the Q Society settled the action by publicly apologising.

American blogger and author, Robert Spencer is a principal leader of the international counter-jihad movement. He has led seminars on Islam and jihad for the US Army Command and General Staff College, the FBI, the US intelligence community and others.
Spencer is the founder of Jihad Watch, a program of the David Horowitz Freedom Center (DHFC), which was cited 162 times in Anders Breivik’s manifesto. With Pamela Geller, Spencer is co-founder of the America Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI) and Executive Director of Stop Islamization of America (SIOA). Geller and Spencer share a common conspiratorial belief in a ‘stealth jihad’ being waged against the United States, with the aim of subjecting America to Islamic law.
He has popularised his views via a series of controversial but best-selling books such as Stealth Jihad: How Radical Islam is Subverting America without Guns or Bombs and The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades), and Did Muhammad Exist?
Spencer has stated that “traditional Islam contains violent and supremacist elements”, and that “its various schools unanimously teach warfare against and the subjugation of unbelievers.”
He also voiced his support for the English Defence League (EDL), saying: “The EDL is standing up to violent thugs from both the Left and the increasingly assertive Islamic communities in Britain, and they deserve the support of all free people.”

Geert Wilders is founder and leader of the People’s Party for Freedom (PVV), one of the largest parties in the Netherlands.
Wilders is the most successful counter-jihadist politician in the world. His party had a ‘supporting arrangement’ with the current Dutch minority government but withdrew its support in April 2012.
His prominence in Dutch politics has secured his position as the main counter-jihad standard bearer across Europe and he is feted by campaigning organisations in North America. Wilders has received considerable funding from the US-based David Horowitz Freedom Center.
Wilders’ extreme views are very controversial and have caused widespread offence. He has called Islam the “ideology of a retarded culture” and compared the Quran to Hitler’s Mein Kampf, labelling it the “fascist Quran”. Despite claiming to be a champion of free speech he has called for the Quran to be banned.
In addition, he has called for the rewriting of the Dutch constitution to halt all immigration from Muslim countries; to push paid repatriation of Muslim immigrants; and Muslim ‘criminals’ to be stripped of Dutch citizenship and deported “back where they came from”.
In 2008 Wilders commissioned the making of the controversial film ‘Fitna’ that explored apparent Quranic-inspired acts of terrorism. The film angered Muslims worldwide and triggered an international debate on free speech. In the spring of 2009 he launched the ‘Facing Jihad World Tour’, a series of screenings of ‘Fitna’ to public officials and influential organisations around the world, including the US Senate. As part of the tour he had planned to show the film in the Palace of Westminster. Two days before the showing the-then Home Secretary Jacqui Smith banned Wilders from entering the UK, labelling him an “undesirable person” (he appealed and won and was later invited by Lord Pearson, and the film was shown in March 2010 to members of the House of Lords.)
In 2010 Wilders was charged and prosecuted for criminally insulting religious and ethnic groups and inciting hatred and discrimination. Despite the violent language and hyperbolic tone used by Wilders, he was acquitted in June 2011.
In On 18 March 2016, a second trial against Wilders began, this time accusing him of inciting ‘discrimination and hatred’ against Moroccans living in the Netherlands. He was convicted for hate speech in December 2016, but no penalty was imposed although the Dutch Public Prosecution Service had demanded a fine of €5,000.
In an interview in September 2017 he said that Islam is a “totalitarian, dangerous and violent ideology, dressed up as a religion” and wanted to ban Islam in the Netherlands.

David Yerushalmi is a prominent American lawyer who has arguably done more than anyone to spread the Islamophobic agenda at a local level in the United States. He is deeply involved in a plethora of significant Islamophobic organizations.
Yerushalmi drafted the ‘American Laws for American Courts’ (ALAC) legislation model in 2009, which prohibits foreign law, including Sharia law, from being considered in US state courts. However, as Daniel Mach of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) highlighted in The Huffington Post, the First Amendment already prohibits the adoption of religious law and so ALAC laws serve only to “single out Muslims as second-class citizens”.
In 2011 The New York Times named Yerushalmi as “The man behind the anti-Shariah movement”, which promotes “anti-Sharia” legislation like ALAC. According to a 2017 report by the Haas Institute, from 2010-2016, 18 such Islamophobic laws have been enacted in 12 states.
Yerushalmi is founder of the Society of Americans for National Existence (SANE) think tank; co-founder of the American Freedom Law Center (AFLC); general counsel to the Center for Security Policy (CSP), and co-author of the CSP’s report Shariah: The Threat to America; he has also served as counsel for Stop Islamization of America (SIOA) and to Stop the Madrassa: A Community Coalition. He also represents numerous right-wing Christian organizations.
Yerushalmi is the author of an extremely controversial article in the McAdam Report On Race, in which he opens by calling Islam “an evil religion” and “blacks … the most murderous of peoples.”

Frank J. Gaffney Jr., founder of the Center for Security Policy (CSP), is a well-connected and influential figure among conservatives in America.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, during the 1970s he worked as an aide to Richard Perle in the office of Senator Henry M. Jackson. In the 1980s, he was deputy Assistant Secretary of Defence for Nuclear Forces and Arms in the Reagan Administration.
Gaffney has been ostracized from more mainstream conservative circles and events for ceaselessly attacking people he considers Muslim sympathizers. However, he has also held events that have attracted Republican lawmakers, presidential candidates and other conservative figures.
He hosts a daily radio program, Secure Freedom Radio, where he has interviewed prominent Islamophobic, anti-immigrant and far-right figures, including the white nationalist Jared Taylor. The CSP later stated that Gaffney was not familiar with Taylor’s views and subsequently after examining them he found there was “much there with which he strongly disagrees”. CSP stated that “Had due diligence been done beforehand, such disagreements would have resulted in Mr. Taylor not being invited on the show, routine compliments to such guests not made and an offer to appear again not extended”.
Gaffney was a key figure behind the ‘Obama is a Muslim’ conspiracy theory, writing an article in The Washington Times in 2009 titled ‘America’s first Muslim president’.
In 2016 Ted Cruz, a candidate for the Republican nomination for President, appointed Gaffney to his advisory team.
Whilst he was banned from the influential Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) for his conspiratorial allegations in 2011, Gaffney moderated a panel at CPAC in 2016, and also spoke at the 2018 CPAC event.

Lutz Bachmann is the founder and chair of The German Patriotische Europäer gegen die Islamisierung des Abendlandes (Pegida – Patriotic Europeans against Islamisation of the Occident) which he formed in October 2014 in Dresden, Germany.
Even though most of the international branches of the Pegida network have been unsuccessful, it has now supplanted the Defence League network as the primary international street protest network in the counter-jihad movement.
He has a long criminal record that includes numerous burglaries, dealing cocaine and driving without a licence.
After forming the movement and overseeing its rapid rise and initial success he nearly destroyed Pegida when, in early 2015, a picture emerged of him dressed as Hitler. As a result of the picture he stood down but was soon re-elected as chairman in February 2015.
Activity
On 23 January 2016 representatives of 14 groups linked to the Pegida network met with Tatjana Festerling and Lutz Bachmann in the Czech Republic to sign the Prague Declaration, which stated their belief that the “history of Western civilization could soon come to an end through Islam conquering Europe”. The meeting set up what they called “Fortress Europe”.
In 2016 Bachmann was charged and in May that year convicted of incitement of racial hatred for texts he wrote about refugees. He was fined €9,600.
On 13 June 2016 he set up a new political party, Freiheitlich Direktdemokratische Volkspartei.
In November 2017 Bachman visited Stephen Lennon (aka Tommy Robinson) in the UK.
In March 2018 Bachman was barred from entering the UK, after he was scheduled to speak at the 18 March event organised by Lennon in Hyde Park, London.
Milo Yiannopoulos (born Milo Hanrahan) is a British media personality based in the US, best known as the (now-former) Technology Editor of anti-Muslim American news outlet Breitbart News Network. While at Breitbart Yiannopoulos wrote numerous, inflammatory anti-Muslim articles.
Yiannopolous has built his media career around being provocative, focusing on criticising left-liberal positions on gender, race and Islam. He now runs MILO, Inc., a “talent factory and management company” aimed at “the destruction of political correctness and the progressive left”.
While Yiannopoulos’ targets are wider than just Islam, he and MILO, Inc. primarily focus on “big picture issues” such as “the evils of Islam, and the defence of Western values”.
He engages in frequent speeches at universities across the USA during which he regularly espouses anti-Muslim messages, often under the guise of a commitment to unfettered free speech. However, he has openly contradicted his own words, for example telling an audience in New Mexico that he struggled “with how freely people should be allowed to preach that particular faith [Islam] in this country.”
Yiannopoulos’ image took a bad knock in February 2017 after footage resurfaced of him appearing to endorse sexual relationships between “younger boys and older men”. In the wake of this scandal, he resigned from Breitbart, was uninvited from the influential Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) and was dropped by the publisher Simon & Schuster, losing a lucrative book deal.

After the Orlando, Florida mass shooting in June 2016 Yiannopoulos penned an articled ‘The Left Chose Islam Over Gays. Now 100 People Are Dead or Maimed in Orlando’ before giving a talk at the site of the shooting called ‘Absolutely Haram: Islam versus Gays’
In October 2016 Yiannopoulos appeared at a pro-Trump art exhibition held by Lucian Wintrich of The Gateway Pundit. Yiannopoulos’ performance art involved bathing in a bath of pigs blood as a “tribute to the suffering of those who have lost loved ones at the hands of illegal aliens and Islamic terrorists”

On 17 July 2017 the David Horowitz Freedom Center hosted a book launch for Yiannopoulos’ book Dangerous. At the Luxe Hotel in Los Angeles, Yiannopoulos was introduced by Horowitz himself, who stated: “Milo was put on this planet to teach conservatives that fear is the enemy of freedom, and that mockery and flippancy are Kryptonite to the left”

Pipes is an influential figure in the American ‘counter-jihad’ milieu, considered by some to be a more “mainstream” and “respectable” figure. He is a historian and neo-conservative political commentator.
