London Voter Registration Week

18 10 18

London has one the lowest voter registration rates across the UK regions and nations. Young people, who are more likely to be recent home movers, private renters and from a BAME background, are one of the most under-registered groups. So London Voter Registration Week is an opportunity to get registered and heard. Registering to vote is very important – it allows you to take your place in London and history. Not being registered to vote has other significant impacts, such as not being able to be selected for jury service, and increased difficulties in gaining a good credit rating.
