EXAMPLES OF RACISM

Tommy Robinson regularly claims that he is not racist, even challenging journalists to provide evidence that he is. Here is just a fraction of the evidence that proves he is:

  • After a decade of insisting he isn’t antisemitic or racist, Stephen Lennon published his most extreme antisemitic and racist article ever in which he asks ‘The Jewish Question’ and adopts racist pseudoscience.
  • A video emerged in early 2019 that shows him calling a taxi driver a “little P**i that drives a car” and dubbing himself “King of the whole Islam race”.
  • A rape charity for BAME women was bombarded with racist abuse from supporters of Tommy Robinson after a photo of its flyer offering support to victims from ethnic minorities was posted on Facebook by him with the comment: “I guess it’s ok to rape white women then?”
  • In a video recorded for his then-employer, RebelTV, Lennon called Muslims: “enemy combatants who want to kill you, maim you and destroy you”. He went on to say that: “It’s not a refugee crisis, it’s an invasion of Europe by military age Muslim men”.
  • He called people from Somalia “backwards barbarians” and said that London’s Muslim Mayor, Sadiq Khan, is “part of an invasion into our country”.
  • In early 2016, Lennon tweeted that, “I’d personally send every adult male Muslim that has come into the EU over the past 12 months back tomorrow if I could. Fake refugees”
  • At an EDL rally in 2011, Lennon blamed all British Muslims for the 7/7 attacks, said, “Every single Muslim watching this on YouTube. […] We will not tolerate it and the Islamic community will feel the full force of the English Defence League […].”
  • In video he said, “The reality is this is a war. These people are waging war on us. This has gone on for 1,400 years. This is nothing new. And the whole time while this goes on, the police leaders or political leaders want to invite more! They want to invite more!”
  • He has called Muslims, “Muzzrats” in a tweet.
  • He once tweeted: “I just saw someone planting a time bomb, or as the Muslim woman involved called it ‘having a baby’
