Great British PAC (GB PAC) is a pressure group in the mold of American political action committees. Launched in 2024 by Ben Habib, Reform UK’s ex-deputy chair and now leader of Advance UK, it is effectively a right-wing campaign group.
GB PAC spends much of its time opposing the government’s Chagos Islands deal with Mauritius. It has also supported Tommy Robinson events and a protest opposing puberty blockers for trans youth. Plans to launch an academy to teach future right-wing leaders, host a conference, and publish a list of legislation it wishes to overturn appear to have stalled.
GB PAC’s advisory board consists of Tory politicians like Lord Hannan, Baron Greenhalgh and Brendan Clarke-Smith in addition to far-right activists like Carl Benjamin (AKA Sargon of Akkad).
A number of the group’s team have expressed extreme views, not least its England director Edward Oakenfull, who once posted about the decline of the British “gene pool”. He wrote on X: “By importing loads of sub Saharan Africans plus Muslims that inter breed the IQ is in severe decline.”
Similarly, GB PAC’s Northamptonshire director Antony Antoniou shared a website containing Hitler’s speeches and pointed his online followers towards a video asserting Hitler “never ordered the extermination of a single Jew”.
