The numbers of young people drawn to far right extremism, particularly through online radicalisation, have grown exponentially during the pandemic, and we receive regular requests for help from schools as well as from individuals and other partner organisations.
Our Deradicalisation Unit is here to address this growing problem. Our dedicated Caseworker works closely with our existing Education Team, and our researchers provide up to the minute input on the trends and content they are uncovering in online spaces.
We work with individuals involved in far-right activity and groups, with a view to helping them leave safely and with the kind of support that will help them move on to safe, happy futures.

HOPE not hate’s mission is to provide an antidote to the politics of hate. A chaos Brexit backlash will create fertile ground for the far right. HOPE not hate cannot allow this to happen and so that’s why we have decided to stand up and oppose a radical right-led hard Brexit.
